The WPC has always been open to progress. Anglers are free to use the equipment and transducer technology of their choice. The event does not stand still, because neither does competitive fishing. Also LIVE fishing technologies are permitted. In 2027 WPC C.A.S.T introduces an additional voluntary challenge within the World Predator Classic. It gives teams the additional opportunity to compete without live sonar and to measure their performance against other teams that have made the same choice. CAST stands for: Choice of Angling Style & Technology
Do you want to compete in C.A.S.T-Event within the WPC(Required)
One WPC. More ways to prove your skill! Participation in WPC C.A.S.T is entirely voluntary. An Option. Teams choosing the CAST classification commit to competing without live-sonar technology during the periods of the entire event. Their decision must be declared before the start of official practice and cannot be changed during the event. Check WorldPredatorClassic Website for all details. CAST-Anglers will receive a fully valued WPC-Champion Titel, Trophy and Prize.
