DISCLAIMER

  • I hereby confirm that:
  • I enter World Predator Classic (the “Event”) in a safe and responsible manner and that I have no medical condition, which would endanger myself, or any other person while participating in the Event
  • I accept any and all responsibility for, and assume the risk of, any and all injury to myself or damage to my equipment while participating in the Event or travelling to and from the Event for any personal injury or death due to the gross negligence of the organisers.
  • I understand the limits of World Predator Classic Personal Public Liability cover and understand it is my sole responsibility to have valid and adequate Personal Public Liability insurance covering me for taking part in a fishing competition with the use of boats for the whole duration of the event against the risk of personal injury to myself, or causing personal injury to a third party. Furthermore, should I elect to use a boat, I confirm that I have and will maintain insurance cover against damage and personal injury caused to myself, or any third party arising from such boat use. I will supply copies of all required insurance documentation to my Captain, or if I am the Captain, to the organisers on request.
  • If I am the Captain, I will ensure that each and every team member signs an individual Disclaimer form and supplies the required insurance documentation to me and are aware of any insurance matters.
  • I agree that, if I (or any members of my Party) fail to follow the event rules or instructions of the Organisers or any Event Marshal or fail to comply with any of the obligations set out above or otherwise conduct ourselves in any way which in the view of the Head Marshal or the local authorities may, or in fact does, cause damage to any property or injury or nuisance to any person (“Break the Rules”):

    I will be disqualified and excluded from the Event without refund; and

    I will indemnify and hold harmless the Event and the Event Organisers from and against any and all liability that either or both of them may incur by reason of my breaking the Rules.

  • I agree that the decision of the Head Marshal or local authorities is final in all circumstances.
  • I certify that I have read and understood the contents of this Disclaimer, and that it is my intention by signing this form that it is binding not only upon me but also upon my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
  • If I am the Junior’s Adult legal guardian: As the legal guardian, I confirm that my child is allowed to participate in the event under the conditions described in the "JuniorCup Competitors InfoPack" brochure and I accept full responsibility for the child's handling. I am aware that it is my job to accompany the child in terms of a safe and compliant event.
  • If I am a Junior: I confirm that I am following the instructions of my legal guardian, the boat captain, the marshals and the event organization and that I fully understand all the rules of the Junior Cup as described in brochure "JuniorCup Competitors InfoPack" and that I have no further questions.
